A Menstrual Cycle Coach in Your Pocket

rooted in science, ritual & rebellion

Track your period, decode your symptoms, and reclaim your cycle with Baba Yaga — the feminist, inclusive, and privacy-first app that actually gets you.

Why we created Baba Yaga

You’ve tried period apps before. You downloaded the trackers. Logged your symptoms. Tried to make sense of your moods, your cravings, your cramps. But instead of support, you got:

  • confusing pink calendars

  • empty data charts

  • AI “insights” that didn’t actually help

  • and maybe even saw your private data get sold to Meta…

You deserve better.

This is more than a period tracker. Baba Yaga is a menstrual cycle coach in your pocket — a wise, truth-telling, radically inclusive guide to understanding your body on your own terms.

No ads. No data-harvesting. No moralizing.

Just truth, tools, and a little bit of witchy magic.

Because your cycle isn’t a problem to fix — It’s a rhythm to live by.

Ritual invitation

Before you scroll...

Take a breath. Then another — slower. Let your shoulders drop. Let your belly soften.

Now, place a hand on your lower belly.

Ask yourself:

What’s happening in my body today?

Where am I in my cycle — or in my inner rhythm?

What sensations are asking to be felt?

What emotions are present, under the surface?

What part of me wants to be met? Heard? Held?

Let the questions land. Let your body respond. No need to fix. Just witness.

This is what cycle syncing can be. This is what a menstrual cycle coach gently invites, again and again:

to come home to yourself.

Baba Yaga reminds you every day to listen inward.

To track not just data — but your truth.

Who is Baba Yaga?

Baba Yaga is the witch in the woods. The one who asks the real questions. The one who sees through the nonsense.

She’s here to help wake you up.

Inside the app, she shows up as your daily menstrual cycle coach — offering simple, powerful truths about what your body is doing, what it needs, and how you might live more in sync with it.

She tracks your data, yes. But more than that, she helps you track your truth.

With each day, she offers:

  • Cycle context (with daily hormone powers and cycle phase insights)

  • Emotional insight (is it PMS or is it a natural BS filter?)

  • Gentle coaching (“Do less. Ask for space. Be held.”)

Baba Yaga doesn’t moralize. She doesn’t filter. She just tells you the truth — and invites you to listen.

Because your body has always known. It’s the world that forgot.

She’s like if a wise Slavic grandmother and a period scientist had a baby — and gave her a cauldron full of cycle wisdom.

How Baba Yaga works

Step 1: Download the app

It’s free to start. Choose whether you want to track your cycle casually — or go deep with fertility awareness, symptom support, or daily ritual.

Step 2: Start tracking

Track your period, mood, flow, BBT, cervical mucus, spotting, and more. You can keep it simple — or track it all.

Step 3: Receive daily coaching

Each morning, Baba Yaga greets you with your hormone power of the day:

  • what’s happening hormonally?

  • what might that feel like?

  • how can you move with it & not against it?

Step 4: Discover patterns over time

Your cycle is talking to you. The app’s analysis tools help you listen:

  • Fertility windows

  • Cycle phase lengths

  • Emotional patterns

  • Recurring symptoms

Step 5: Choose your path

Want to focus on cramps, burnout, emotional overwhelm, or irregularity? Pick a Healing Journey, and receive cycle-based tips, check-ins, and support all month long.

Meet the creator

Hi, I’m Natalie Stoemmer — a menstrual health educator, cycle coach, herbalist, and recovering goodgirl-bossbabe.

I created Baba Yaga Cycle Coach because I needed something that didn’t exist: an app that was scientifically sound, spiritually grounded, and politically aware — all at the same time.

I’m here for:

  • People who feel betrayed by their bodies

  • People who were never taught how their cycle works

  • People reclaiming their rhythm, their rage, AND their rest

This app is my offering to you — and to the long line of bleeding bodies who came before us.

I write more about cyclical living, decolonial healing, and body truth on .

A letter from our founder

Dear bleeding one,

If you’re here, maybe you’re tired. Tired of feeling like your body is unpredictable. Tired of tracking apps that treat you like data, not a person. Tired of being told your symptoms are “normal” — or all in your head.

Me too.

I built this app because I needed it. I needed something that honored my whole self:

  • the science

  • the shadow

  • the sacred

  • the rage

  • the rest

I wanted a menstrual cycle coach who could walk with us through burnout, cramps, confusion — without trying to sell me pregnancy predictions, diet tips, or shame.

And I wanted her to speak with the voice of someone older, wilder, and wiser than me

That’s Baba Yaga.

This app is a love letter. To you. To your wombspace (or the memory of it). To your rhythm. To your reclamation.

Thanks for being here. Thanks for bleeding. Thanks for staying with yourself, even when it’s hard.

I’m with you.

— Natalie
