We strive to empower every person who experiences a menstrual cycle. Because we believe in a world where shame or fear or ignorance around the menstrual cycle have no power over us anymore. That’s why we’re creating the Baba Yaga where holistic well-being meets scientific research.

It is extremely important to note that we are fully aware of the lack of accurate & well-designed meta-analyses to make any kind of generalizable conclusions or statements about all cycles, all cycle phases, and all menstruators. However, we aim to A) bring awareness to the personal importance of cycle tracking, and B) point out that poor study design and a wide-spread unwillingness to even tackle this topic are not an acceptable status quo. More research is needed (& slowly emerging). Until enough studies are available, our only option is to anecdotally summarize the existing body of research. Once this changes, it will be possible to create proper meta-analyses.
